Planning Applications

John Molloy is experienced in planning permission and building regulations approvals. For each project, John will discuss with you whether you can apply for approval under permitted development or whether full planning approval is required. Advice is given on the best route to realise the potential of your property.

Following this, we will submit an application for planning consent; plans, elevations and sections will be submitted to your local authority alongside a design and access statement. For small projects there is usually an eight week period for the council to reach a decision, in which time the planners may consult with your neighbours and relevant bodies.

Depending on the scope of the building, various other consents may be required. These include; a certificate of lawfulness for permitted development, listed building consent, conservation area consent and freeholder consent for leasehold properties.
